Junior Software Developer
We're looking for a driven junior developer who picks things up fast and isn't afraid to ship. You'll work across our full stack — building client-facing products, internal tooling, and AI-powered automations that directly impact how mid-market companies operate.
What you'll do
- —Build and maintain web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and React
- —Develop backend services and APIs with Python and Node.js
- —Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production workflows and client solutions
- —Collaborate with senior engineers on system architecture and technical decisions
- —Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
- —Ship iteratively — we value working software over perfect plans
- —Contribute to open-source projects and internal developer tooling
What we're looking for
- —Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- —Experience building with Next.js and React (personal projects count)
- —Working knowledge of Python and interest in AI/ML applications
- —Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and relational databases
- —A fast learner — this matters more than years of experience
- —Strong communication skills and a bias toward action
- —Based in Canada with legal authorization to work

- —Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Sales Director
We need a sales leader — not just a closer. You'll own and build our entire sales function from the ground up: pipeline generation, deal execution, partnerships, and the playbook that scales us from 20 to 200 clients. This is a foundational hire that will shape the trajectory of the company.
What you'll do
- —Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for mid-market accounts
- —Build and lead the sales department — hire, train, and scale the team
- —Develop outbound and inbound strategies that consistently generate qualified pipeline
- —Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors and channel partners
- —Work directly with the founding team to shape go-to-market strategy and pricing
- —Build repeatable sales processes, playbooks, and CRM workflows
- —Represent Vertmix at industry events, conferences, and executive meetings
- —Forecast revenue accurately and report on pipeline health and conversion metrics
What we're looking for
- —5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in consulting, SaaS, or professional services
- —Proven track record of exceeding quota and closing six-figure deals
- —Experience building or scaling a sales team from early stage
- —Deep understanding of mid-market buyer psychology and procurement cycles
- —Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- —Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and ambiguity
- —Based in Canada with willingness to travel for client meetings and events
Nice to have
- —Existing network in Canadian mid-market or enterprise sectors
- —Experience selling technology consulting or digital transformation services
- —Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation
- —Understanding of operations technology, AI, or cloud infrastructure
